Hardcover binding also known as case binding are done by collating the pages and then sewn and glued to the cover, along with the spine resulting in a very strong and durable bind. This method is commonly used for reference books or plan prints so as to withstand heavy use.
Back to back binding – Most commonly used for large plan prints (as-built drawings). for example an A0 sized drawing that uses back to back binding would be a A1 sized hardcover book that opens up flat enough to read the whole A0 sized drawing.
Screw binding– This method utilises screws which allows for dismantling and adding or removing of pages. Customers chose this type of binding when they require the flexibility to insert/remove pages in the future. Works like a file.
